For Leya, ADA APA DENGAN CINTA? continues to be something that many people love since she was in elementary school until now.
"So when I was in elementary school, the first time I watched it, my mom was talking about it with so much passion, really enthusiastic, saying that everyone in her generation really loved it," she explained in a recent Round Table session at KapanLagi.
"It turns out I was talking about it with my friends too, I oh by the way, the friends who first spread ADA APA DENGAN CINTA? to my generation back in elementary school were me," she continued.
Leya, who was very interested in the movie AADC?, eventually heard about the casting for RANGGA & CINTA when she was an adult.
"When I found out RANGGA & CINTA existed, I was actually already talking to my mom like, mom is this an open casting or what?" she revealed.
Leya's mother, who is also an actress, then told her to find out for herself. Although interested in auditioning, Leya had some doubts about herself.
"But it seems impossible (for Leya to pass the casting), there must be so many people (auditioning)," said Leya.
"I didn’t know I was reached out to like, 'come join the casting,' and I was like, okay okay, I'm in, I'm so in, I was just trying my best at that time," concluded Ferry Maryadi's daughter.
