MD Pictures Launches Film 'LA TAHZAN' Twin of 'IPAR ADALAH MAUT', Get Ready to Be Infuriated!

The production house MD Pictures is once again preparing to stir the emotions of cinema audiences in the country. After a phenomenal success with IPAR ADALAH MAUT, they have now officially announced the production of a new film titled LA TAHZAN, inspired by the viral story of creator Elizasifaa.

This film reunites the successful trio behind IPAR ADALAH MAUT, namely producer Manoj Punjabi, director Hanung Bramantyo, and writer Elizasifaa. This announcement was made during the trailer launch event and press conference held at MD Place, Kuningan, South Jakarta, on Monday (14/7/2025).

Manoj Punjabi, as the producer, expressed his high enthusiasm for this project. He even mentioned that LA TAHZAN has potential that is no less than its predecessor, promising a spectacle that will once again drain the emotions of the audience.

"Today is not just a music video, guys, we also have a trailer launching. The final trailer," said Manoj Punjabi as he opened the event.

Furthermore, Manoj explained that this project has been long awaited. The story of LA TAHZAN, which also originated from the TikTok platform, was once a strong candidate to be produced first before finally IPAR ADALAH MAUT made its way to the cinema.

Hanung Bramantyo as the director also shared his views. According to him, LA TAHZAN will present a different experience full of surprises, even for those who have followed its viral story. He guarantees that this film will be more than just an ordinary cheating story.

"You will watch the movie, it's really exciting and different. What you think will happen, there are surprises. I don't want to say too much, I don't want to spoil it," said Hanung Bramantyo.

The film, which will be released on August 14, 2025, stars Deva Mahenra as the main character, alongside a lineup of top actors and actresses such as Marshanda, Ariel Tatum, Asri Welas, and many more.
