No Reference to Play the Character Royani in the Film Srimulat Hidup Memang Komedi, Indah Permatasari Admits to Getting Inspiration from Rano Karno

Kapanlagi.com - Indah Permatasari once again plays the character Royani in the film Srimulat Hidup Memang Komedi. The character is the child of Babe Makmur played by senior actor Rano Karno.

Apparently, playing the character Royani posed a big challenge for Indah. Because from the beginning, Indah did not have a reference or an idea of how to portray this character.

"In the process of filming, to build the character, I didn't have a reference," revealed Indah when met at Plaza Senayan, Jakarta, on Tuesday (31/10).

"I needed time. I didn't have a reference for almost a week," she added.

But fortunately, there is senior actor Rano Karno who gave her inspiration. From the character played by Si Doel's actor, Indah finally has an idea of what Royani, the character she portrays, will be like.

"Until I met Babeh, Uncle Rano Karno, and I got a glimpse, if the father is like this, I can imagine what the child will be like," she said.

In addition, Indah Permatasari also expressed her gratitude for being chosen as one of the cast members in Srimulat Hidup Memang Komedi. For her, it is an honor to be involved in a film that tells the journey of the legendary comedy group Srimulat.

"I am grateful for this moment. I always remember the comedy of Srimulat, and of course, Mas Tessy is quite close to me," she concluded.
