The Indonesian Film Festival award ceremony was held on November 10, 2021, precisely on Heroes' Day. There are 22 categories vying for the Citra Cup, the presence of Indonesian President Joko Widodo made the FFI 2021 award night feel more special. The Indonesian Film Festival event is always eagerly awaited because this event is one form of appreciation for Indonesian films, "The pandemic is not over yet, but challenges can be overcome one by one. The pandemic is not an obstacle to creating masterpieces for the film industry in the homeland." said Reza Rahadian, the chairman of the FFI 2021 committee.
