Remembering Late Father, Cut Meyriska and Mother Cry Watching This Movie..

Kapanlagi.com - Last Sunday (11/7/2021), Cut Meyriska and Roger Danuarta invited their family to attend the gala premiere of the movie PINTU SURGA TERAKHIR. While watching the family drama by Fajar Bustomi, they all shed tears.

The tears flowed because Chika and her family remembered their late father named Suryadi AK who passed away. As it is known, Chika's father took his last breath on August 24th in Aceh.

"This movie is like a memento for me and my family to remember my father. Because there are many scenes where he often says things like 'Don't forget to pray'. Mama also said 'Just like your father', and then she cried. That's just how my father was. We only realized it when he was no longer here," Chika said when met at Epicentrum XXI, Rasuna Said area, South Jakarta.

"Chika cried for a long time. And this is the first time I watched a movie and cried. It's as if without me realizing it, this movie's soul quietly made me immersed. Even though I always refuse to cry, 'It's just a movie, why cry?'. But earlier, I cried," added Roger in the same place.

1. Deceased Father Wants to Watch

The film LAST HEAVEN'S GATE went through the shooting process at the end of 2020. At that time, Cut Meyriska brought the film's script home and it was read by her deceased father. Her father then commented that he really wanted to watch the final result.

"Father read the script, at that time I happened to bring it home. And because my father is also a fan of Pakde Indro, he couldn't wait. This is the film that my father has been waiting for, but he hasn't had a chance to watch it," said Chika with teary eyes.

LAST HEAVEN'S GATE, which also stars Indro Warkop, tells the story of Irma, a beautiful entrepreneur who hasn't married because she wants to take care of her father. This film will be released in cinemas throughout Indonesia starting from November 11th with ticket prices set at Rp 10,000 for the first 100,000 viewers.
