Angga Yunanda mentioned that he has his own way of performing intense scenes, one of which is his role as Malik in this film DOPAMIN.

"Ten minutes before (take), there’s some personal time. I maximize it a lot. For example, if the scene is really intense, I can step away from the crowd for a bit, have my own space, like reflecting by myself, you know," said Angga.

Angga Yunanda's statement was then confirmed by his wife, Shenina Cinnamon. She admitted that each actor has time to be alone while the film crew is making arrangements before the shooting.

"And I think that makes a lot of sense, because when they are setting up the set, the camera, lighting, and so on, we can just take a moment to be alone, after all, when we enter the set, we will still become the character that we will deliver later," said Shenina.

Meanwhile, Shenina has a method similar to Angga's to delve into her character as Alia in the film DOPAMIN. She admits that she never brings her character from the set into real life.

"I am the type who, once I’m on set, I become the character, but once they say cut, I’m done. So I never bring that character home, or until the next day or even until the last day wrap, something like that," said Shenina.

"I’m the type who can easily switch on and off, and it turns out that when filming with Angga, Angga is the same type, we have the same method where on set we become our characters, but off set we are already Shenina and Angga again," she continued.

Lastly, Angga & Shenina both stated that the characters Malik & Alia they portray in the film DOPAMIN are very different from 'Angga & Shenina in real life.'

"But going back, maybe it's because the characters Malik and Alia have so many problems in their lives, right? I mean with the economy being tested like that, maybe their way of thinking is also different; the way Malik and Alia think is definitely different from Shenina and Angga," concluded Shenina.
