Tilik is a Javanese word which, when translated into Indonesian, means to visit. The short film 'TILIK' itself is a Javanese-language film that went viral on YouTube in 2020.

It tells the story of villagers visiting the Village Head's mother in the hospital using a truck. The short film became viral because the audience could relate to it, especially the character Bu Tejo played by actress Siti Fauziah. Bu Tejo herself is an antagonist character who enjoys gossiping and is often encountered in the real world.

It is known from a tweet by the @weTVIndonesia account announcing the airing of several web series in 2022, and the 'TILIK' series is one of them.
