Sineas Sentot Sahid Claims to be Able to See Ghosts, Once Reached a Point of Boredom and Wants to Live a Normal Life

Sentot Sahid is a renowned filmmaker in the country who has been an editor in many successful films. Now he occupies the director's chair through a horror presentation titled JANJI DARAH.

Interestingly, the story of the film starring Natasha Wilona and Emir Mahira is based on his real-life experiences. Frankly, Sentot admits that he has the ability to see ghosts.

"Actually, about fifty percent of what is in this film I have experienced, the remaining fifty percent I and the screenplay writer developed further," said Sentot when met at Epicentrum XXI, Rasuna Said area, South Jakarta, on Monday (1/7).

At the Gala Premiere of the film JANJI DARAH held at Epicentrum XXI, Rasuna Said area, South Jakarta, on Monday (1/7) yesterday, Sentot Sahid openly admitted that he can see ghosts.

Sentot Sahid revealed that it is not easy to be someone with the habit of seeing ghosts. He once found himself in a weak position and wanted to be a normal person, until he followed the advice to close his ability to see.

"Just like the dialogue in the film, I also want to live a normal life, I don't want to be like this. I have experienced situations that made me bored of seeing them. Then I was told how to do it and I did it. Finally, it decreased," said Sentot.

Sentot Sahid said that people with abilities like him can't always see apparitions. Sometimes ghosts will only appear depending on the level of sensitivity of the person.

"So their appearance depends on our sensitivity. People who can see something cannot see it everywhere. It depends, if I say 'antenna', whether our 'antenna' is sensitive or not," said Sentot.

Furthermore, Sentot Sahid revealed that initially he didn't want to admit having a sixth sense. But he couldn't hold back anymore and decided to open up.

"At first, I didn't want to say it. But if I keep it to myself, it doesn't feel right. So I'm revealing it now," said Sentot.

"Usually people like me never tell or show it to others, but now it's time," added Sentot.
