Fais (Dimas Seto), the son of KH Abdullah (Hengki Tornando), the owner of the Al Mubarak tahfidz pesantren, must accept his fate to continue his father's will, managing a free pesantren for orphans and the needy.

For Fais, this is not a big problem. He is established, financially successful, and has a strong religious foundation.

However, one thing weighs on the minds of Fais and his wife, Dania (Dhini Aminarti). The pesantren's will requires its leader to be a man from the direct lineage of the family.

In fact, Dania can no longer have children after her womb had to be removed when she gave birth to their first child, Arumi.

Several times the pesantren was attempted to be managed by people outside the family line, but the results were always different; the intentions and direction of its management no longer aligned with the initial spirit of the founder.

In the end, the mandate can only be passed on to the children and grandchildren of one's own flesh and blood, in order to preserve the purity of the intention.

Now, Dania is at a crossroads, having to choose between her personal happiness or her devotion to the sacred mandate for the orphaned students.
