Synopsis of the Film 'MANGKUJIWO 2', The Story of the Rise of Kuntilanak and the Dark Side of Humanity in Seeking Revenge

MANGKUJIWO 2 will continue the story of the previous mysterious death of Tjokro Kusumo (Roy Marten). Tjokro Kusumo and Brotoseno are enemies who compete for the sacred relics and hold grudges against each other.

Brotoseno's revenge story (Sujiwo Tejo) will continue as he still holds a desire to seek revenge by summoning Kuntilanak through a ritual medium.

Set in the 70s, when the Mangkujiwo sect starts to become a large organization with many followers. Mangkujiwo itself is a sect that maintains Kuntilanak as a ritual medium.

Karmila (Karina Suwandi) has a different intention that may endanger the sect. Karmila tries to warn Brotoseno that without Kunti, Mangkujiwo will not have a weapon.

Nyi Kenangan (Djenar Maesa Ayu) also gives advice to Brotoseno, who is power-hungry, to ally with supernatural beings.
