The 'CULTURE SHOCK' Series Officially Airs, Starring Ajil Ditto to Davina Karamoy

Kapanlagi.com - Various refreshing shows kick off the year 2025, one of which is CULTURE SHOCK. The series officially premiered on February 21, 2025, on VISION+. The launch of this series was marked by a press conference held at the MNC Conference Hall on Friday (21/2).

A lineup of cast members who attended this event included Ajil Ditto, Maria Mary, Dhea Ananda, Sheila Kusnandi, Shahabi Sakri, Risma Nilawati, Riharsa, and other cast members. They shared exciting experiences during the shooting process and revealed the challenges they faced in portraying their respective characters.

“This series is very light, entertaining, unique, and full of surprises. Hopefully, it can provide viewers with a different kind of entertainment compared to other shows,” explained Thaleb Wirachman Wahjudi, Head of Production.

1. Challenging Character

On the other hand, Ajil Ditto as the character Riko revealed that his character this time is quite challenging.

“Honestly, this is a very challenging character and quite difficult for me, because I have to portray a 16-year-old boy. Where here I am asked to be a naive child again, who will later be surrounded by a cast that plays the role of Riko's family and friends. I was also a bit worried.” he said.

The series CULTURE SHOCK tells the story of Riko (Ajil Ditto), a teenager from a naive background. He has sexual taboos; anything related to sex makes him panic heavily. For a better future, his mother takes Riko to the capital to study at a prestigious high school. There, Riko meets Sabrina (Davina Karamoy), the only girl who is willing to accept him.

Not only entertaining, the series CULTURE SHOCK presents a way to discuss taboo topics and invites the audience to watch and discuss it together, both with parents and peers. With a strong storyline, fresh humor, and relevant social messages, the Culture Shock series is ready to be an entertaining yet educational watch.
