The historical conspiracy thriller film MANHUNT tells the story of what happened after the assassination of the first American president. This film made its debut on the streaming platform Apple TV+ on March 15, 2024.

The film is created by showrunner Monica Beletsky and adapted from the bestselling book by James L. Swanson, “Manhunt: The 12-Day Chase for Lincoln's Killer,” which follows the hunt for John Wilkes Booth after the assassination of Abraham Lincoln.
 
The film is produced by Apple Studios and co-produced by Lionsgate Television, in collaboration with POV Entertainment, Walden Media, 3 Arts Entertainment, Dovetale Productions, and Monarch Pictures. Beletsky, Carl Franklin, Layne Eskridge are involved in the production. Additionally, Kate Barry will serve as the executive producer of the series.

Tobias Menzies plays Edwin Stanton who is a former United States Attorney General. He currently works as a lawyer and American politician who served as the Secretary of War under Lincoln's administration during most of the American Civil War.
