ETERNALS tells the story of a group of heroes from outer space who have protected Earth since the beginning of human civilization. When an evil creature that has long been lost reappears to haunt and mysteriously threaten life, the Eternals must unite again to save humanity. Marvel Studios' ETERNALS is inspired by a Marvel comic book "Eternals" by Jack Kirby, first published in 1976. The story of ETERNALS will take fans to a different atmosphere to explore a period of time that has never been explored in other Marvel films.
Not only that, ETERNALS promises a variety of characters with backgrounds of transformation from Marvel Studios characters. This film will introduce the ETERNALS as protectors of humanity who come from the alien race of Olympia and will fight alien predators known as Deviants. After years of being free from the threat of Deviants, the Eternals finally have to hear news of their return from the Celestials, the creators who previously appeared in the film "Guardians of the Galaxy".
Eternals is a powerful group, a perfect combination of thinkers and fighters. They share the same cosmic energy, but manifest as different powers for each individual. When facing a threat, their powers complement each other. However, beyond that, they appear to be a normal family who support each other, yet still have disagreements.

The story in this film also explores two different time periods. The first period is set in the past, when the Eternals worked together as a strong team and became a family. The second period tells the story of the present, where they have been separated and live normal lives among humans. When the Deviants come back and pose a threat, they are forced to come together again to save humanity.
Marvel Studios' ETERNALS also features the largest lineup of Super Heroes in the history of the MCU to date. Marvel Studios' ETERNALS introduces a group of Super Heroes consisting of a series of stars from various countries with diverse characteristics. Producer Nate Moore explains in more detail that the interesting thing about ETERNALS, even from a narrative perspective, is the Celestials who created the Eternals themselves, about a group of people who can blend in on Earth. And as known, humans on Earth consist of various societies, where there are people who look different and come from all ages. This aspect is what makes Marvel Studios build characters with talented and diverse actors.

The journey and transformation of the characters depicted in this film represent many different aspects of human nature and the complex duality within all of us," she expressed. Marvel Studios' ETERNALS is portrayed by Gemma Chan, Richard Madden, Kumail Nanjiani, Lia McHugh, Brian Tyree Henry, Lauren Ridloff, Barry Keoghan, Don Lee, Kit Harington, Salma Hayek, and Angelina Jolie.
Directed by Chloe Zhao, with Kevin Feige and Nate Moore as producers, and Victoria Alonso and Kevin de la Noy as executive producers. Marvel Studios' ETERNALS is based on a story by Ryan Firpo & Matthew K. Firpo, with a screenplay by Chloe Zhao and Patrick Burleigh. Marvel Studios' ETERNALS will be released in Indonesian cinemas starting from November 10, 2021, while adhering to applicable health protocols.
