DON'T LOOK UP will follow the story of Kate Dibiasky, played by Jennifer Lawrence, a college student majoring in astronomy. She has a professor who teaches astronomy, named Dr. Randall Mindy, played by Leonardo DiCaprio.
One day, Kate and Dr. Randall discovered an important discovery that concerns the safety of human life on Earth. They found a comet orbiting within the solar system. However, the comet is on a path that could collide with Earth.
Knowing that the comet could cause a disaster for humanity, Kate immediately spreads information about the comet to everyone on Earth.
Unfortunately, when they try to warn everyone on Earth, instead of believing and taking Kate's words seriously, everyone thinks she is lying, making things up, and joking.
Not giving up easily, Kate and Dr. Randall embark on a journey for the safety of humanity on Earth. This journey will make Kate and Dr. Randall encounter people with diverse personalities and attitudes.
They finally managed to meet President Orlean, but who would have thought he didn't care about that fact. The same goes for the Chief of Staff and President Orlean's son, Jason, who only likes to seek attention.
Kate tries to attract public attention through social media, but it is not an easy thing to do. They also tried to bring their news to the morning show The Daily Rip, but it didn't yield any results either.
