French Cinema Festival 2024 Presents Interesting Films That Can Be Enjoyed Online and Offline

Kapanlagi.com - The French Cinema Festival (FSP) is back to greet film lovers in Indonesia in its 26th edition, taking place from November 22 to December 8, 2024.

Organized by the French Embassy in Indonesia and the Institut Français d’Indonésie (IFI), this festival once again collaborates with KlikFilm as the official partner to present more than 30 quality French films in a hybrid format.

From November 30 to December 6, 10 films will be available on KlikFilm, providing an opportunity for audiences across Indonesia to enjoy the richness of French cinema online.

1. Becoming a Bridge

To witness the French Cinema Festival, movie enthusiasts only need to pay a subscription fee. The films that can be watched on KlikFilm include The Edge of the Blade, Marguerite's Theorem, Four Daughters, White Paradise, More Than Ever, Medusa, Little Nicholas, Kompromat, Memory Box, and Daaaaaali.

As one of the oldest film festivals in Indonesia, the FSP continues to be a cultural bridge between Indonesia and France since it was first held in 1996. Last year, the FSP recorded great success with more than 10 thousand viewers, of which 7 thousand enjoyed the screenings online through KlikFilm.

In this year's edition, KlikFilm again plays an important role by presenting a selection of films that can be accessed online, providing an opportunity for viewers from all over Indonesia to enjoy this festival. Additionally, live screenings will also be held in 13 cities across Indonesia, making FSP 2024 more inclusive and reaching a wider audience.

2. Satisfy Every Taste

The Director of the French Institute Yogyakarta, Francois Dabin, revealed that the collaboration with KlikFilm enriches the films presented at the French Cinema Festival.

“Thanks to our partner in Indonesia, KlikFilm, the French Institute can showcase the best and latest film productions from France at the 26th edition of the French Cinema Festival. There are comedies, dramas, adaptations of literary works, horror films, animated films, and renowned classic films, all so complete that they can satisfy every taste,” he said.
