Introducing Enola, Sherlock Holmes' Little-Known Sister

Let's talk about Enola. While Sherlock is portrayed as a calm character in the novel, Enola has the opposite personality. Yes, Enola is a young girl who is rebellious, eccentric, independent, spirited, and never afraid to defy things that she feels are not suitable for her.

In the story, Enola dares to run away from home at a young age to search for her mysteriously missing mother. Meanwhile, her brother always forces Enola to focus on her education and become a proper lady.

After escaping from home with the money prepared by her mother, Enola becomes a detective to solve missing persons cases. On the other hand, her brother continues to try to find and capture Enola to bring her back home and continue her studies.

2. Adapted into a Netflix Series

The Enola Holmes Mysteries novel has finally been adapted into a serial film that will officially premiere on Netflix on Wednesday (23/9) tomorrow. This adaptation film is directed by Harry Bradbeer. Meanwhile, the cast involved includes Millie Bobby Brown (Enola), Henry Cavill (Sherlock), Sam Claflin (Mycroft), and Helena Bonham Carter (Eudoria).

Interestingly, the Enola adaptation series was involved in a problem, where the original author of the character Sherlock Holmes (The Conan Doyle Estate) filed a lawsuit against Netflix, accusing them of changing the character of Sherlock Holmes without permission. As known, so far Sherlock is known to have a genius, narcissistic, and arrogant nature. However, in the Enola adaptation series, the character of Sherlock played by Henry Cavill is portrayed as calm and different from the original.
