Everything You Need to Know About DC FanDome, From 'BLACK ADAM' to 'THE BATMAN'

Kapanlagi.com - Good news for DC fans around the world. The biggest annual DC Fandome event will soon be held virtually for 24 hours on August 22, 2020. This event is dedicated to fans and will cover everything about DC, from comics, films, games to television shows.

DC FanDome is open to the public. The registration process is simple, where you just need to visit the official DC FanDome website, create an account, and start choosing the programs that will be shown later.

There are a total of 6 program sessions (verses) that have been prepared and you can enjoy them at this event. Here is the list.,

1. 6 Main Sessions of DC FanDome

- Hall of Heroes: Where all the main programs will be presented, such as new content and panels about your favorite DC films and games.

- WatchVerse: Presents 4 theaters where fans can watch various DC-related content.

- YouVerse: A session dedicated specifically to fans, where art, cosplay, and all fan-made content related to the DC cinematic universe will be showcased.

- InsiderVerse: A session where fans can watch what happens behind the scenes during the production of DC games, films, and TV series.

- Funverse: An interactive session where fans can read DC comics for free, purchase merchandise, and participate in various other fun activities.

- KidsVerse: A session specifically provided for children, featuring content such as the Teen Titans tower and the DC Super Hero Girls: Sweet Justice cafe.

The Hall of Heroes session will take place on August 22, 2020, while the other 5 sessions will be held on September 12 and 13, 2020.

2. Line-up of Event Hosts at DC FanDome

DC FanDome itself will certainly present a lineup of hosts, presenters, and interesting guests during its 24-hour broadcast. Some of the names announced so far include Aisha Tyler, Venus Williams, Will Arnett, Idris Elba, Ezra Miller, Jason Isaacs, Kaley Cuoco, Matt Reeves, Michael Rooker, Robin Wright, Viola Davis, and Henry Winkler.

3. Main Spotlight

In the Hall of Heroes session, there are several main spotlights that fans of DC Universe films must eagerly await. Starting from trailer leaks to the presence of the main stars from each film title to greet the fans.

- Wonder Woman: 1984

Main stars such as Gal Gadot and Chris Pine will be present with the director, Patty Jenkins, to talk about WONDER WOMAN: 1984. They will also answer all the fans' questions, discuss fan art and cosplay submissions.

- The Suicide Squad

The director, James Gunn, has promised to showcase leaks from the upcoming film THE SUICIDE SQUAD through a tweet on his official Twitter account. The film, which tells the story of an alliance of DC antagonistic characters, is expected to be released in 2021.

It should be noted that THE SUICIDE SQUAD is not a sequel to SUICIDE SQUAD released in 2016, although some characters will return. The titles are somewhat similar and confusing.

- Black Adam

This character may not be very familiar to some people. Black Adam is an antihero with a long history in DC comics. He is the arch-nemesis of Captain Marvel or Shazam. He possesses magical powers related to the ancient kingdom of Egypt. The main character, Dwayne Johnson, will be present at the QnA session.

- Aquaman

In 2018, the film AQUAMAN starring Jason Momoa successfully attracted the attention of film lovers worldwide. The cast and director, James Wan, will be present to discuss their favorite moments in the film AQUAMAN. Unfortunately, Jason himself may not be able to attend.

The Batman

The director, Matt Reeves, previously announced that he will share new things about THE BATMAN. This film will star Robert Pattinson as Batman and Zoe Kravitz as Catwoman.
