Lionsgate Play Announces Collaboration with First Media and Latest Exclusive Hollywood Film and Series Titles

Until now, the popularity of OTT has been soaring, especially among millennials, as well as the trend of on-demand content consumption. With the increasing growth of OTT consumption every year, Indonesia is said to lead OTT consumption in Southeast Asia.

Meanwhile, Conviva or the company that analyzes optimization of video streaming services revealed that there are two main patterns of OTT service consumption in Asia, one of which is users who access OTT services switching from mobile phones and desktops to larger screens at home.

Until June 30, 2022, First Media customers can subscribe to Lionsgate Play for only Rp 1,000 for the first month and Rp 35,000 (excluding VAT) for the following months. Specifically, First Media users who subscribe to the Supreme, Maxima, and Infinite packages will automatically get access to Lionsgate Play. Access to Lionsgate Play's flagship content can only be enjoyed by First Media customers using the Smartbox X1 Prime.

2. New Films and Series in April

April marks a year since the arrival of Lionsgate Play in Indonesia. Various collections of the best Hollywood films and Asian cinema and exclusive series can be enjoyed by Lionsgate Play customers in Indonesia. This month, Lionsgate Play presents the film DEADLOCK and the series MRS. WILSON, which are exclusive content and can only be enjoyed on Lionsgate Play.

DEADLOCK is an action thriller film starring Bruce Willis and will be aired in the first week of April on Lionsgate Play. It tells the story of Ron Whitlock, a fugitive criminal who leads a mercenary team on a revenge mission.
