Being in the same universe as Spider-Man and Venom, it turns out to be more related to Spider-Man. According to the Marvel comic, MADAME WEB tells the story of a mutant who can predict and see the future. She plays the role of an advisor as well as helping Spider-Man in his actions. MADAME WEB tells the story of a woman named Cassandra Webb (Dakota Johnson) who works as a paramedic and helps many people. One day, Cassandra is involved in an accident, but she manages to survive and even saves a victim from the accident.

From there, Cassandra's power emerges, where she is able to predict and see the future. One day, while on a train, Cassandra (Dakota Johnson) sees a future where three people on the train will be murdered by a man, Ezekiel Sims (Tahar Rahim). To prevent it from happening, Cassie asks the train to stop.

Not only that, Cassandra (Dakota Johnson) also has a vision to save the three girls from the murder that Ezekiel Sims (Tahar Rahim) will commit. Does Cassie succeed in saving the three girls?

The main enemy of Madame Web (Dakota Johnson) in this movie is Ezekiel Sims (Tahar Rahim), a character commonly referred to as "Spider-Man Last Stand". In this movie, Ezekiel will be different from the comic version as he is portrayed as a villain.

Ezekiel Sims (Tahar Rahim) will become the villain as seen in the trailer where he is shown fighting against Madame Web (Dakota Johnson), as well as other Spider-Women (Sydney Sweeney, Isabela Moner, Celeste O'Connor). He possesses abilities almost similar to Madame Web. He is also capable of opening the gates of the Spider Verse, multiversal destiny, and even the Web of Life.

3. Dakota's Role as Madame Web

Playing the character of Madame Web, the main character, this will be Dakota's first film with a new character, a superhero. According to Variety, Dakota stated that it has been an amazing experience, and she also mentioned that she learned a lot from this movie.

Through Entertainment Tonight, Dakota also expressed her excitement and joy to be involved in the Marvel world, especially with a character that is not well-known. She added that it has been her dream to be part of a big action film. Dakota started casting as Madame Web in early 2022, and now we can see her debut appearance in the MADAME WEB trailer that was released on November 15th.
