Jake Schreier, who directed THUNDERBOLTS, is said to be directing the first mutant film in this universe.

According to BBC News, Marvel has applied for permission from the Windsor and Maidenhead Council to reconstruct the set of "Annie Reynolds' House" in Windsor Great Park, England, an important location from the film THUNDERBOLTS related to the character Bob Reynolds, aka Sentry.

The return to this location suggests there will be a deeper exploration of Sentry's past and the potential return of The Void, his dark side. In the post-credit scene of THUNDERBOLTS, Sentry is seen losing his powers, but it is not impossible for those powers to rise again in DOOMSDAY.
