Marvel 'BLADE' Director Leaves Again for the Second Time, Release Date Likely to be Delayed

The BLADE film is confirmed to be left by its director for the second time after Yann Demange will no longer lead the project. BLADE reboot is a superhero film from Marvel Studios that will be starred by Mahershala Ali. Yann Demange is the second director to leave this project after Bassam Tariq decided to quit in 2022.

Demange reportedly left the project a few weeks ago, after developing it for several years. Eric Pearson has been appointed to take over the script of the BLADE film, after five writers have participated, including Michael Green, Michael Starrbury, Stacy Osei-Kuffour, Nic Pizzolatto, and Beau DeMayo.

The movie BLADE, which was originally scheduled to be released in November 2025, is likely to experience a delay. This is due to several factors, one of which is the departure of the two directors of the film. The delay of BLADE will certainly be disappointing news for fans who have been eagerly awaiting its presence in the MCU.
