Movie Talk 'WHAT IF...?', Exploring the Marvel Cinematic Universe Multiverse

Prepare for even the most unique. WHAT IF...? presents alternative storylines from the versions we've seen in theaters. Starting with the premise of 'What if there were parallel worlds different from ours?'. In the first episode, Peggy Carter will replace Steve Rogers as Captain America.

Director Bryan Andrews said each episode will present different colors. Some will be dramatic, some action-packed, and even emotional.

The central character in WHAT IF...? is The Watcher. He can see all events in the Marvel universe. However, he can only observe. He cannot interact or intervene.'The Watcher is a representation of fans who can know everything but cannot determine the storyline,' said Jeffrey Wright.

Story writer AC Bradley said that every episode in WHAT IF...? tries to present a different side of Marvel superheroes but does not neglect the essence of each character.

In episode 2, you will see T'Challa as the Star Lord. Instead of Peter Quill, T'Challa is the one who was 'kidnapped' by Yondu when he was a child.Episode 2 will make viewers emotional as it is Chadwick Boseman's final appearance before his death.

There will be many famous Marvel characters introduced with various versions of their stories.

One of the iconic ones is Marvel Zombies. They will appear in one of the episodes.

Brad Winderbaum jokes that there is a possibility that stories in WHAT IF...? could appear in live-action Marvel films.

Out of the 30 story ideas that were successfully developed, only 10 were eventually realized in this WHAT IF...? animated film. Will there be a season 2 in the future?
