Natalie Portman Takes Mjolnir Thor from Chris Hemsworth at San Diego Comic-Con

Natalie Portman will still portray the character Dr. Jane Foster, love interest of Thor. But this time she will shift the position of the handsome Hemsworth.

Not female-thor or Lady-Thor, the character played is called Mighty Thor. This was announced directly by Taika Waititi through an Instagram post.

Of course, there is no competition between Chris Hemsworth and Natalie Portman for this role. Both of them were present at Comic-Con held in San Diego, United States.

Natalie appeared as Jane Foster in THOR (2011) and THOR: THE DARK WORLD (2013). She was 'absent' in THOR: RAGNAROK, but will return in THOR: LOVE AND THUNDER, which will be released in November 2021.

Although Thor's position has been 'shifted', KLovers will still enjoy Hemsworth's appearance in THOR: LOVE AND THUNDER.

Kevin Feige, the Marvel boss himself, is very excited to welcome Portman back to the MCU. Marvel is increasingly bringing in awesome female superheroes in action.

Portman will act alongside Tessa Thompson who plays Valkyrie. Thompson will become the new ruler of Asgard, as Thor chooses to join the Guardians of the Galaxy.

THOR: LOVE AND THUNDER is Waititi's second film in the Marvel universe. He will still bring the action and comedy formula as seen in THOR: RAGNAROK.

Returning to action in the MCU is a very special thing for Portman. This mother of two can't wait to show her skills as Mighty Thor.
