The teaser for the film SHANG-CHI AND THE LEGEND OF THE TEN RINGS has just been released. The new hero from the Marvel Cinematic Universe has excellent Kung-Fu skills.Not only that, Shang-Chi (played by Simu Liu) is also the child of someone with extraordinary power. From deadly special forces to magical fortresses as his headquarters. Who is Shang-Chi and what will the film be like? Take a sneak peek at this teaser.
In the narration in its teaser, Shang-Chi is referred to as the child of Wenwu. A mysterious figure portrayed by Tony Leung. Wenwu clearly has a serious power. Just look at his large headquarters in the form of this temple.
In many references, Wenwu is also referred to as Mandarin. This figure is already very famous in Marvel Comics because he is the archenemy of Iron Man.
Wenwu wants Shang-Chi to become his successor. That means, Shang-Chi has to deal with the magical things around Wenwu.
In the teaser, Shang-Chi refuses to become Wenwu's successor. That causes him to become the target of Wenwu's special forces.
