It has been showing since June 6, 2025, in theaters, and the Ballerina film (2025) is a spin-off from the John Wick franchise that introduces a new character named Eve Macarro, played by Ana de Armas.
Directed by Len Wiseman and written by Shay Hatten, this film is set between the events of John Wick: Chapter 3 – Parabellum and Chapter 4. Ballerina will focus on the assassin who has only been a background character in the John Wick films.
It tells the story of Eve, a ballerina trained as an assassin by the Ruska Roma organization, led by The Director (Anjelica Huston). Eve's main motivation is to seek revenge for her father's death, who was killed by the leader of a cult of assassins, The Chancellor (Gabriel Byrne).
This journey of revenge brings her face to face with various characters from the John Wick universe, including John Wick himself (Keanu Reeves), Winston Scott (Ian McShane), and Charon (Lance Reddick).

John Wick's role in Ballerina is more than just a cameo; he has significant involvement in the storyline, helping Eve in her mission and deepening the connection between this film and the main franchise. The film will certainly feature intense action and the signature fight choreography of the John Wick series, including emotionally challenging flamethrower scenes for Ana de Armas.
