The First Look of 'ARMY OF THE DEAD', Zack Snyder's Epic Zombie Outbreak

Kapanlagi.com - Recently, Netflix has released the first look of the film ARMY OF THE DEAD. This film is the second zombie film for Zack Snyder, collaborating with Shay Hatten and Joby Harold who wrote the screenplay. In addition, Snyder's wife Deborah Snyder also co-produced the film through their production house, Stone Quarry. This film, directed by the director of JUSTICE LEAGUE, has cast Dave Bautista, who previously starred in GUARDIANS OF THE GALAXY, as the main character.

ARMY OF THE DEAD tells the story of the adventure to survive in the midst of a zombie outbreak in Las Vegas. In the midst of the outbreak, a man gathers a group of mercenaries to take the risk of penetrating the quarantine zone to attempt the biggest heist ever. Besides Dave Bautista, this film also stars Ella Purnell, Ana De La Reguera, Theo Rossi, and Huma Qureshi. ARMY OF THE DEAD also marks the director's return since his last film, JUSTICE LEAGUE.

As it is known, JUSTICE LEAGUE was left by Snyder during post-production due to a family tragedy he experienced. By working on this film, it can be interpreted that Snyder is returning to directing zombie genre films. Previously, Zack Snyder has worked on a zombie film titled DAWN OF THE DEAD in 2004. Apart from that, ARMY OF THE DEAD is a refreshing film for Snyder. Because previously he spent a lot of time in DC working on several films, such as MAN OF STEEL (2013), BATMAN VS SUPERMAN (2016), and JUSTICE LEAGUE (2017). Zack has promised that this film will be the most exciting and epic zombie film. ARMY OF THE DEAD is scheduled to be released on May 21 on the beloved streaming service Netflix.
