This film is set three years after AVATAR: THE WAY OF WATER. While the previous film explored the beauty of the underwater world of the Metkayina clan, AVATAR: FIRE AND ASH introduces a completely new Na'vi tribe and a story full of conflict.

The main conflict in AVATAR: THE WAY OF WATER centers around the battle between Jake Sully's family (Sam Worthington) and the Metkayina clan against the forces of the Ash Tribe led by a female leader named Varang (Oona Chaplin).

Varang is seen allying with Jake's arch-enemy, Colonel Quaritch (Stephen Lang). Varang is depicted as having the ability to control fire, a power she uses to burn the forests of Pandora.

Varang is a ruthless and power-hungry antagonist. This is evident through a threatening line at the end of the trailer.

The conflict in Pandora is now not only between humans and the Na'vi, but also among the native inhabitants of Pandora themselves.

As usual, James Cameron does not mess around when it comes to visuals. The emotional conflict between characters is depicted. The landscape of Pandora is presented in a darker and more intense way.

The motion capture and CGI technology used brings the cinematic experience to a new level, while still maintaining the distinctive features of the Avatar franchise.

In addition to Oona Chaplin, this film will also feature new actors such as David Thewlis and Michelle Yeoh. Sigourney Weaver, Stephen Lang, Kate Winslet, and Cliff Curtis will also be present.
