Trailer 'BLACK ADAM' Reveals the Background Story of the Antihero, The Rock Flooded with Praise

The year 2022 is the stage for superhero movies. From DC Comics and Warner Bros, there is BLACK ADAM which will be released on October 21st. Just a reminder, Black Adam is not the superhero you imagine. He is more appropriately called an antihero.

This first trailer gives a glimpse into the origin of the powerful figure of Black Adam.

Black Adam was originally a slave who was about to be executed. Whatever mistake he made, he seemed to suffer greatly accepting his fate of being killed by the executioner.

However, fate had other plans. Black Adam managed to survive with the help of his son. Although this caused his son to lose his life. 

The trailer then jumps to the present day where Black Adam, who survived death, meets other superheroes. One of them is Dr. Fate, played by Pierce Brosnan. His main source of power is a magical and cosmic helmet that allows Dr. Fate to perform magic, telepathy, telekinesis, and fly. 

There is also Hawkman (Aldis Hodge). In the comic version, Hawkman is a member of the Justice League. 

The most interesting attention is Atom, played by Noah Centineo. Atom has the power to change his body from the size of an atom to the size of a skyscraper. 

From this first trailer, the main antagonist character who will be the opponent of Black Adam has not yet been seen. What is visible is an armored force with this advanced technology vehicle.

There will definitely be conflict between Black Adam and other superheroes. In one of his dialogues, Adam emphasizes that he is a hero who is not hesitant to take the lives of his opponents.

Black Adam is depicted as powerful as Superman. Many netizens in the comments section cannot wait to see more of the antihero's actions in the film.

Dwayne Johnson aka The Rock is flooded with praise from netizens who feel that his portrayal as Black Adam is spot on.
