10 Moments of BTS Black Swan MV You Shouldn't Miss, Jimin's Wings - Jin's Shadow

BTS has just released an MV for their song titled Black Swan on March 4, 2020. The release of this MV was a surprise to the ARMY, the name for BTS fans, as there was no prior announcement from Big Hit Entertainment. This Black Swan MV is filled with interesting details that you shouldn't miss. Let's check out those details!

Jimin's 'white swan' scene standing in the darkness as the opening of the MV looks familiar because it is very similar to V's wingless angel scene in the 'Blood, Sweat & Tears' MV.

In the movie BLACK SWAN, winged shadows appear on the wall behind Nina Sayers after she transforms into her alter ego on stage. The same shadow also appears behind Suga and RM.

In the beginning of the choreography, Suga reaches out for Jungkook's hand and switches places with him. Then, Suga extends his hand towards his own reflection on the wall while singing the lyrics, "Inside, I saw myself, myself." Is this a coincidence?

In the climax of the MV Black Swan, large black wings emerge from Jimin's back as he transforms into a 'black swan'. This scene is similar to Nina's performance in the movie BLACK SWAN where her wings appear on stage.

Jimin's wing scene also reminds ARMY of the wings that appeared in the MV Blood, Sweat & Tears and J-Hope's Boy Meets Evil teaser.

In a room filled with mirrors, Jin's reflection does not move when he turns around. This is similar to the scene in the movie BLACK SWAN where Nina's reflection, initially facing away from her, suddenly turns and stares sharply at her.

Jungkook's scene on the audience podium seems to refer to the final scene of the movie BLACK SWAN where Nina intends to commit suicide by jumping off a cliff. Unlike Nina who is consumed by her own shadow, Jungkook manages to defeat his own dark shadow.

In this MV, J-Hope once again showcases mirror dance moves like he did in the MV for Fake Love. Although it has appeared twice, J-Hope's moves in both MVs are equally amazing!

A sharp-eyed ARMY with the Twitter account @BANGTANDIOR even noticed that the shadows at the end of BTS's choreography resemble an inverted crown. How is that possible?

At the end of the MV, Jimin, who danced solo throughout the song, finally stops and collapses on the stage, inspired by a quote from Martha Graham. The choreographer once said, "a dancer dies twice — the first time is when they stop dancing, and this first death is extremely painful."
