10 Years of Living Together, Irene and Seulgi Share Tips for Decorating Rooms ala Hits 'Twitter'

Kapanlagi.com - Ten years of living together has allowed Irene and Seulgi Red Velvet to get to know each other's characters closely. They are so close that they even know each other's taste when decorating a room.

In the latest episode of Where is My Home, Irene and Seulgi share tips for decorating a beautiful room, so it doesn't lose to the photogenic dormitory threads on Twitter. Here's the full review.

1. Room Size as the Main Consideration

Living together for a long time in the dorm, Irene and Seulgi agreed that the size of the room they lived in needed to be the main consideration.

"When you decide to live with your friend, the size of the room needs to be the main consideration. In this case, if you pay the same amount of money, it means that the size of the room or the bedroom at least should be the same," said Irene.

Unlike Irene who likes large rooms or bedrooms, Seulgi prefers smaller rooms.

"People's preferences may vary, aside from the budget factor of course, but honestly, I prefer smaller-sized rooms. One of the reasons is that I can decorate it more maximally and don't need too much furniture," added Seulgi.

2. Neutral Colors Make You Feel at Home

When MC Kim Sook was invited by Irene and Seulgi to tour the Red Velvet dorm, she was surprised by the dominant white color.

"White color is not only clean, but also gives a bright atmosphere. In addition, neutral colors can also reduce the use of lights, because they can be bright when sunlight shines through the windows," explained Irene.

Irene also added the need to add covers such as curtains to the windows, so that when the sun is too bright, the intensity can be reduced without making the room dark, because of the neutral wall paint color.

3. Choose the Right Furniture

Equally important to note is the furniture. According to Seulgi, you shouldn't just choose any furniture, so that the room doesn't look crowded.

"For rooms with low ceilings, you can use a bed with a low frame, so that the impression of height still appears," Seulgi explains.

Seulgi also adds that if you have a lot of clothes, make use of hangers arranged on the wall.

"If you have quite a lot of clothes, you can utilize the wall area to create a row of hangers. Besides not leaving the wall empty, the clothes will look neat," Seulgi concludes.
