Not only in Indonesia, in Korea too, the number of Covid-19 cases has been increasing. In fact, several Korean celebrities have also been confirmed positive for Covid-19 in recent days. There are at least 12 Korean stars, ranging from idols, variety show stars, to athletes, who have had to stop their activities because of this virus.
Minhyuk BTOB is the most recently confirmed artist to have tested positive for Covid-19. It started with his vocal teacher testing positive, and the idol took a test which initially came back negative. However, a few days later, Minhyuk experienced symptoms and after a retest, the result was positive. He is currently resting and focusing on recovery.
Doyoung TREASURE was confirmed positive on July 13, 2021. The other members were immediately tested and the results were negative. Doyoung also immediately stopped all of his schedules.
Junghwan TREASURE, who was in quarantine, also tested positive for Covid-19 after previously testing negative. The other TREASURE members are currently undergoing self-quarantine.
On July 13, Seo In Young, a solo singer who recently appeared on Love Call Center - TV Chosun, was also announced positive for Covid-19.
Super model and variety show star Han Hye Jin underwent testing because Kim Yo Han (former volleyball athlete) who appeared on the same show tested positive. It turns out that Han Hye Jin's test result was also positive, forcing her to stop all of her schedules.
Lee Sang Gon Noel has also been confirmed positive for Covid-19 and has stopped all schedules and appearances.
5 stars from LETS PLAY SOCCER TOGETHER 2 have tested positive for Covid-19, namely former Volleyball athlete Kim Yo Han, former judo athlete Yoon Dong Shik, former speed skater Mo Tae Bum, former tennis player Lee Hyung Taek, and former swimmer Park Tae Hwan.
Trot singer Jang Min Ho has also tested positive for Covid-19, causing other cast members of PPONG SCHOOL to be immediately tested. Filming for this show has been temporarily halted, while the crew and all the stars have been tested.
