As known, Rose BLACKPINK was born in Auckland, New Zealand on February 11, 1997. Rose herself is the youngest daughter of two siblings and has one older sister named Alice.
Rose explained that her parents felt that their precious child needed an English name because she was born in New Zealand. Her father, who bought a name book, eventually chose the name Roseanne.
Meanwhile, the Korean name for Rose is Park Chae Young. Rose or Rosie itself is her nickname since childhood, which is an abbreviation of the name Roseanne.
Rose spent her childhood in Box Hill, Melbourne, Australia. One of the most memorable childhood memories of this beautiful idol is the comfortable house that used to shelter her family.
As a child, Rose's favorite thing was taking afternoon naps. Rose said that she could take a nap for 2 to 3 hours after school.
After waking up from her nap, Rose usually plays the piano with her older sister. Little Rose really enjoys playing the piano moments at her home.
