BIGBANG last released the album MADE on February 3, 2016. The songs in the MADE album, starting from Bang Bang Bang, Bae Bae, Loser, and Last Dance became hits at that time.

In 2018, BIGBANG released the song Flower Road which marked the members' hiatus to fulfill their mandatory military service. The lyrics in the song Flower Road were clearly dedicated to entertaining the fans.

2. T.O.P Leaves the Agency

Along with news of their comeback, T.O.P was announced to be leaving the agency. YG Entertainment explained that T.O.P will not be renewing his contract after being with the agency for 16 years.

3. Seungri's Departure

As a result of his actions, Seungri was fined around Rp13.1 billion and sentenced to 1 year and 6 months after appealing in January 2022.
