Unlike the three, the newest member So Mun (Cho Byeong-kyu) was not in a coma when chosen, but his disability is cured when he transforms into a Counter. Each Counter has a companion spirit that gives them supernatural powers. The interesting story behind the magical world of The Uncanny Counter is able to provide aspects of fantasy, action, mystery, and captivating drama to the audience.

The Uncanny Counter has a very strong main cast. Yu Jun-sang and Yeom Hye-ran are award-winning veteran actors and actresses who have starred in various popular shows.
