After the success of the series SQUID GAME, HELLBOUND, KINGDOM, and SWEET HOME, Netflix is back with another Korean drama series. This time, Netflix Original will present a sci-fi mystery titled THE SILENT SEA.
Telling a thrilling story that takes place in the future, THE SILENT SEA will be available on Netflix later this year. So without further ado, let's take a look at 7 exciting portraits of this film.

This series is an adaptation of the short film THE SEA OF TRANQUILITY, written and directed by Choi Hang-Yong in 2014.
This drama tells the story of the future in 2075, where the world suffers from water and food shortages. In response to this, a team is sent on a space mission to retrieve a mysterious sample from an abandoned research space station.
Gong Yoo, who previously starred in SQUID GAME, will play the role of Yoon-Jae, a space soldier.
Meanwhile, Bae Donna, who previously starred in KINGDOM, will play the role of Ji-An, a space expert.
In addition, Lee Joon will also appear as Rye Tae Seok, who volunteers to become the chief engineer for the space mission.
This film will present 8 episodes that will all be released at the same time. As for the duration of each episode, it has not been announced yet.
You will be able to watch this film on Netflix on December 24, 2021.
