Actress to Re-debut as a Trio! Here's the Latest News on the Members after GFRIEND Disbandment

Yerin, former member of GFRIEND, is the first member to sign a contract with another agency, Sublime Artist Agency. With Yerin joining a new agency, fans' hopes for a GFRIEND reunion in one group have been dashed. Yerin's new agency also hopes that fans will support her future activities.  

In the world of singing, Kim So Jeong, also known as Sowon, former leader of GFRIEND, has joined 1OK Company and embarked on a career as an actress. Kim So Jeong has confirmed her debut in the acting world in a horror and rom-com drama titled A CHILLING COHABITATION. In her first acting role, Sowon has been entrusted with the lead character and paired with Chanwoo of IKON.

Yuju, a member who used to hold the position as the main vocal of GFRIEND, has now joined KONNECT Entertainment after not renewing her contract with Source Music some time ago. The woman known for her powerful voice shared a message on her personal social media account stating that she feels safe working with the agency founded by Kang Daniel. It is rumored that Yuju will make a comeback as a talented solo artist.

SinB will make a comeback with two other members of GFRIEND, Umji and Eunha, as a trio under the management of Big Planet Made Entertainment. According to Koreaboo, the agency's press release stated that Eunha, SinB, and Umji have signed contracts with them.

Eunha, who is also under the management of Big Planet Made Entertainment, will be the oldest member in their trio group in the future. The name VIVIZ was announced to be the name of this trio group of former GFRIEND members, along with the release of a visual video on the group's Youtube account on Friday (8/10).

Umji, who is the maknae in GFRIEND, will also be the youngest member in the VIVIZ trio group. The agency is actively promoting the members on the group's social media account, and fans can't wait for the debut date of the three former GFRIEND members in the future.
