Kim Soo Hyun admitted to feeling awkward with his co-star at first. However, as the shooting process went on, they became closer and eventually comfortable with each other.
"At the beginning and throughout the shooting, there was still some awkwardness, but after that, we were always together for the characters Gang Tae and Mun Yeong. Now, we feel comfortable with each other. So, you should look forward to our chemistry," said Kim Soo Hyun.

Seo Ye Ji also revealed that Kim Soo Hyun has always respected her since their first meeting. As a result, their chemistry grew quickly. According to Seo Ye Ji, Kim Soo Hyun is the best co-star she has ever had.
"From the first day, he has shown me so much respect. I feel like we were able to develop our chemistry quickly. And I can say he is the best partner I have ever had," said Seo Ye Ji.
