Kapanlagi.com - Celebrating their comeback, aespa held a press conference event for the release of their album 'Savage'. This rookie monster K-Pop group discussed their latest catchy song.
"The song (Savage) is also directed by our executive producer, Lee Soo Man. There is a part in the chorus that goes, zzeuzzeuzzeu. Initially, we recorded this part as 'ZuZuZuZu', but the producer heard it and suggested that it would be better if we pronounced it differently to make it more catchy," explained Karina aespa.
The changes in aespa's 'Savage' song resulted in a different and unique vibe.
"Finally, the executive producer and producer Yoo Young Jin thought of another way. After considering many things, we decided to sing it as 'tsk-tsk-tsk'. Because you would say 'tsk tsk' when you want to say 'Embarrassing' or 'You're not worth it for me'. We sang it that way as a message to Black Mamba that 'You're not worth it for aespa'," continued Karina.

Through Next Level, her killing part movement remains a hot topic of conversation. aespa also hopes that the movement for 'Savage' will receive a similar response.
"As I mentioned before, there is a movement that conveys the message, 'You're not worth it to me'. When singing 'tsk tsk tsk', there is a movement of swinging the fingers to the left and right, and we call it the savage hand gesture," said Karina.
"There is also a movement at the beginning of the chorus that signals Black Mamba to 'Come to me'. It's easy to do, so we hope everyone can follow along," she concluded.
