1. Statement from Ryu Jun Yeol's Agency

Ryu Jun Yeol's agency, C-JeS Studios, also released a statement regarding the actor's discussion for the drama DELUSION. They confirmed that the actor from REPLY 1988 will not be starring in the adaptation.

"Ryu Jun Yeol is still in the early stages of considering the offer to star in DELUSION and it is true that the production company asked us not to continue the discussion. In order to not cause any damage to the project, we feel responsible for this incident and agree to stop the review for this project," said C-JeS.

2. About DELUSION

DELUSION will be adapted from a mystery thriller webtoon set in Gyeongseong in 1935 and Shanghai in the 1800s. It tells the story of an artist named Yun Iho who is paid to paint the portrait of a mysterious woman, Song Jeong Hwa. The adaptation will be directed by Han Jae Rim, who previously directed THE SHOW MUST GO ON, THE KING, and EMERGENCY DECLARATION.
