After Debut as an Idol, Loudi Former 14U Doesn't Have a Phone and is Touched by Fans Learning Indonesian Because of Him

Kapanlagi.com - K-Pop lovers must know Loudi. He is the first Indonesian who debuted as a K-Pop idol. In July 2017, Loudi debuted with 14U which consisted of 14 members including himself.

Of course, before debut, like other members, Loudi also had to go through training periods. So, is there any difference when he was still a trainee compared to after debuting as an idol?

"Honestly, it feels the same or you could say I don't really know, because after debut I don't have a phone or personal SNS (social media) so the people I meet every day are just the members, and also the company staff," said Loudi when interviewed via email by Kapanlagi.com.

1. Positive Reaction

As an Indonesian citizen, there are certainly cultural differences. There may also be some who find it strange that there are Indonesian people who are K-Pop idols. Fortunately, this 24-year-old man has experienced several positive reactions from fans regarding him being Indonesian.

"When I engage in music activities in Korea and Japan, there are many positive opinions about me as an idol from Indonesia, so I often recommend tourist attractions in Indonesia or about Indonesian food and culture," said this man of Chinese and Korean descent.

2. Loudi's Fans Learn Indonesian

That's not all. What his fans do when they find out he's from Indonesia also makes Loudi feel proud.

"On occasions like fan signings and so on, even some of my fans have started learning Indonesian, which touches me," Loudi said.
