Proud news comes from the South Korean entertainment world. A young woman from Malaysia, Alicia Wong Lingling, has officially made history as the first female K-pop idol from her country.
On May 29, Lingling debuted with the new K-pop group, KIIRAS, through their debut single titled Kill Ma Bo$$. In the group, she plays an important role as the leader and main vocalist.

Alicia Wong Lingling is a 20-year-old girl from Klang, Malaysia. She is known for being fluent in four languages: Korean, English, Mandarin, and Malay.
Her interest in the K-pop world has taken her far from her hometown, paving an unusual career path for a teenager from Southeast Asia.
Lingling first gained public attention as the only participant from Southeast Asia in the survival program I-LAND 2: N/A. This show is known for producing popular groups like ENHYPEN.
Although she did not make it to the final round, she had already captured the audience's attention with her strong determination, often expressing her desire to become the first female idol from Malaysia.

After being eliminated from I-LAND 2, Alicia did not immediately give up or return to her country. Instead, she received an offer from a South Korean entertainment agency, LeanBranding.
The agency then formed a girl group named KIIRAS and appointed Lingling as the leader and main vocalist, a position that reflects great confidence in her abilities.
On May 29, KIIRAS officially debuted with the song Kill Ma Bo$$, featuring a unique and striking Americana country-themed music video concept.
In a short time, the video gained attention and surpassed one million views, reflecting fan enthusiasm for this new group.

Lingling now leads five other members, namely Harin, Kurumi, Kylie, Doyeon, and Roah. Her dual role as leader and lead vocalist reflects her central position in the group's structure.
With the stage name Lingling, she performs with strong charisma, representing the KIIRAS group while also elevating Malaysia's name on the global K-pop stage.
