Because of Korean Media Reports About Chanyeol EXO's Rumors, Rose BLACKPINK Gets Dragged Into It and Makes Dispatch Furious

Kapanlagi.com - Thursday morning (10/29/2020), the name Chanyeol EXO suddenly trended on Korean search engines and Twitter. The 28-year-old man was accused by a netizen claiming to be his ex-girlfriend of cheating on her with many women during their 3-year relationship.

Of course, it all started from a post on an internet forum, and the news caught the attention of Korean media, who immediately made reports about the rumor. Unfortunately, some media outlets uploaded a fake photo, which ended up dragging other K-Pop idols into it.

A media outlet made a news report about Chanyeol using a fan-edited photo as their headline. In the photo, Chanyeol was edited to appear as if he was caught dating Rose BLACKPINK. To make it more convincing, the edited photo was given the logo of Dispatch, which is known for often exposing celebrity relationships.

Unexpectedly, the article using the edited photo of Chanyeol and Rose became trending on the search engine site Naver. The names Chanyeol and Rose also entered the trending list there. Both of them were caught up in dating rumors.

To prove that the photo was only edited, fans then shared a photo of Chanyeol before being edited with Rose. The editing was done so well that many people were deceived.

Apparently, Dispatch has also heard about this photo editing issue. They immediately released a statement regarding their logo or watermark being misused by fans to create hallucinatory content, leading to fake news.

"Warning
Anyone caught spreading fake images using the Dispatch watermark will be held accountable. Additionally, we will hold anyone responsible for their actions in spreading fake news."
