Black Day, Celebrating Singles in South Korea - Everything Must Be Black

On this Black Day, there are usually several events held. Since it's Black Day, everything will be in black. Including clothing, single guys and girls will dress in all black. They will gather together to eat or just have coffee.

Yes, even the food eaten on that day must be all black to celebrate the singleness of their single friends, including food and drinks. One of the must-have foods on Black Day is jajangmyeon, a black-colored noodle dish with thick black bean sauce.

The noodle dish is considered a comforting meal for a sad heart. In addition to jajangmyeon, they usually also drink coffee as a companion to the food. See, everything is all black.
