The decision to cancel the concert was made after BoA was diagnosed with acute osteonecrosis, a serious condition that affects the bones and requires immediate surgical intervention.
SM Entertainment mentioned that these symptoms arose because BoA's knee pain has worsened recently.
To prevent the condition from worsening, doctors advised BoA to undergo surgery as soon as possible and to avoid heavy physical activities such as dancing.
The concert, which was supposed to be part of the celebration of BoA's 25th debut anniversary, has to be canceled in order to prioritize health.
SM Entertainment expressed their apologies to fans for this sudden announcement, while asking for their understanding and support.
Although her concert was canceled, BoA's latest album, coinciding with the celebration of her 25th debut anniversary, will still be released as scheduled without delay.
