'CARTER' and 'MORAL SENSE' Become Netflix's First Korean Films

The two films are the blockbuster action film CARTER by award-winning director Jung Byung Gil and the cheerful and surprising romance film MORAL SENSE (Working Title) by director Park Hyun Jin.

The Netflix film CARTER is a thriller about an agent who suffers from memory loss and is involved in a mysterious mission. CARTER is directed by Jung Byung Gil, whose talent has produced various unique action films. Director Jung gained a lot of attention for his debut film titled ACTION BOYS, which earned him a place at the 27th Vancouver International Film Festival and other important events. His film in 2017, THE VILLAINESS, was also selected for the Midnight Screenings at the 70th Cannes International Film Festival, further establishing his name among international filmmakers.

2. MORAL SENSE

The Netflix film titled MORAL SENSE (Working Title) presents a different love story between a man with unusual sexual preferences and a woman who accidentally discovers it. Adapted from a popular webtoon of the same title, the main character finds himself in a funny yet tense situation as he tries to hide his unusual sexual tendencies from his colleagues.

As a director who often produces romantic works, director Park Hyun Jin will lead the production by bringing his extensive insights and experience in this genre. Some of his works include LIKE FOR LIKES, which incorporates romance into the trend of social media, and LOVER OF SIX YEARS, which provides a realistic depiction of the relationship between two long-term lovers.

His presence is expected to channel his best abilities in this genre in order to produce a thrilling romantic story between a man with a secret he doesn't want to reveal and a woman who discovers it.
