On September 15, 2025, the production team officially announced the lineup of actors and actresses participating in this drama, including Lee Yeon Hee, Joo Jong Hyuk, Mimi (OH MY GIRL), Lee Jae In, Im Se Mi, Hyun Bong Sik, Kim Do Hyun, Ye Ji Won, Ahn Ji Ho, Im Ha Ryong, and Ye Soo Jung will appear in this drama. The drama will air in eight episodes, with each episode featuring a different story.
Adapted from the webtoon by Lee Mose, Private Taxi tells the story of a taxi driver who only accepts passengers who have pre-booked, plays the songs they want, while listening to and sharing stories with them.

Cha Tae Hyun will take on the lead role as a special taxi driver, not just simply transporting passengers, but also bringing a very personal and touching story.
