Chosen by Herself, Actor Ki Do Hoon Asked by Rossa to be the Model for the 'Masih' Music Video

Kapanlagi.com - Last November, Rossa finally released the music video for her single titled Masih. The release of this music video is considered unusual because it was done long after the single created by Yovie Widianto and Nino was already circulating in the market.

Rossa revealed that the making of this music video was just completed around October. This is because after launching the single in March, all activities related to the Large-Scale Social Restrictions (PSBB) were halted due to government regulations.

"I released the single Masih in March, but the music video hadn't been made yet because of several PSBB periods. Finally, this music video was completed two months ago. Can you imagine a song released in March, and the music video was only released in November? That's something that has never happened before," Rossa said in a press conference via Zoom on Thursday (17/12/2020).

1. Ki Do Hoon Becomes a Music Video Model

Causing a buzz among Korean lovers, it turns out Ki Do Hoon was chosen to be the model for the music video of the song Masih. Do Hoon's acting in the dramas Arthdal Chronicles, Catch The Ghost, and the latest Once Again has indeed captured attention, including Rossa's attention.

"I asked for help from SM Entertainment, if I could use their artist, because it's not easy. Alhamdulillah, then I was helped by SM Indonesia and SM Korea. I was given an actor from a popular drama there, so when they (Indonesian fans) saw it, they were excited and said, 'Wow, this is the one who's in it.' In one day, the views of the music video increased significantly," said Rossa.

2. Choosing on Her Own

The making of the music video Masih was done separately in two locations, Jakarta and Korea. Interestingly, Ki Do Hoon's involvement was based on Rossa's personal request, who was immediately excited when given a list of preferred actors.

"When I was given several photos of actors by SM Entertainment, I could choose. I immediately said, 'I want this one! I want this one!' Because I already recognized that they are the ones who are in it," said the mother of one.
