From being a mistress, initially denying it and claiming to receive threats, to finally admitting to being a mistress, here is the chronology of Mina's case that has recently caught the attention of netizens.
On June 25, 2021, Kwon Mina, former member of AOA, posted a photo with a man and admitted that the man is her boyfriend. Netizens were supportive of Mina's new relationship.
In an online community, a netizen A claimed that the man acknowledged by Mina as her boyfriend is actually netizen A's boyfriend. This netizen revealed that Mina was the one who contacted her boyfriend. Her boyfriend then cheated on her with Mina, and the idol revealed their relationship to the public.
Another netizen who is a friend of A revealed that the man with Mina is indeed her friend's boyfriend. A is worried because her friend's boyfriend cannot be contacted, and it turns out he went public with Kwon Mina. Even the IG usernames of netizen A and Mina's boyfriend were still a couple until a few hours ago.

Kwon Mina then posted proof of Instagram DM chat showing that her boyfriend was the one who initiated contact first. Mina even admitted that she received threats from netizen A's father.
Mina's boyfriend then spoke up through an Instagram post, claiming that he had already broken up with his ex before starting a relationship with Kwon Mina.
July 4, 2021, Mina wrote a caption stating that she finally asked for an explanation from her boyfriend and it turns out that her boyfriend has not broken up with his ex-girlfriend. Mina also feels that she is a victim in this case, although she apologized to netizen A for hurting her. Mina also admitted that there was no threat from netizen A's father.
During a live on Instagram, Mina also mentioned that there is one AOA member who is actively engaging in sexual activities. A screenshot shows that Mina mentioned that the person referred to is Shin Jimin, but this comment was soon deleted. Responding to this news, Kwon Mina claimed that she is a victim of a hoax.
