Chuu's Chronology of Being Unpaid by the Agency for Years Until Being Expelled from LOONA for Using Profanity

Last year, Chuu was reported to have not received payment for five years from Blockberry Creative agency. Despite being considered as the most famous member of LOONA and starring in several commercials, participating in variety shows, and having her own Youtube channel.

Last year, Chuu was said to have filed a lawsuit against BBC regarding salary issues and was reported to have left the agency. But BBC denied it and even threatened legal action against the false information. BBC is also known to have registered the stage name 'Chuu' for copyright. FYI, Chuu's real name is Kim Jiwoo.

Chuu's fansite revealed that BBC did not treat their idol well. When there are group or individual activities, BBC does not provide transportation, so Chuu takes a taxi or is accompanied by her parents. Chuu also pays for her own makeup and hairstyling.

February 2022, BBC made a statement that Chuu could not participate in their concert in Seoul, LOONAVERSE: FROM, due to health reasons. In June, it was also announced that Chuu would not join LOONA's world tour.

Still in June, BBC denied that Chuu had signed a contract with another agency. BBC considered the rumor would only cause distress to fans. They also threatened legal action against defamation of the agency's reputation and LOONA members.

On October 7, when attending Oh Eun Young's Golden Clinic show aired on Channel A, Chuu admitted to experiencing frequent stress and one of her ways to cope is by eating spicy food, which worsened her stomach condition. She also mentioned going to the hospital for infusion once a month. Chuu explained that the reason behind this is because last year she had no income at all, not even to buy chilled food. So when she eats, she immediately devours a large portion of spicy food.

On October 28, 2022, Chuu was reported by OSEN media to have established her own agency with her mother called Chuu Co., Ltd. The purpose of establishing the agency is to manage her activities and earnings. When contacted about this, BBC claimed to have no knowledge of it and will seek the facts. What is clear is that BBC said at that time that Chuu did not transfer to any agency.

On November 25, 2022, BBC announced that they have terminated Chuu from the agency due to using profanity and abusing their staff's power. However, it was not clarified whether Chuu also left the BBC agency.
