One of the rookie boy groups that debuted in the first half of 2021 is EPEX. EPEX is a South Korean boy group consisting of eight members under C9 Entertainment. They are also often referred to as the 'younger siblings' of CIX because they are both under C9 Entertainment.

EPEX officially debuted on June 8, 2021, by releasing a mini album titled 'BIPOLAR Pt.1: PRELUDE OF ANXIETY'. On the same day as their debut, they also held a debut showcase that was broadcasted on Mnet channel in the evening, precisely at 19:00 local time. The mini album they released is also quite unique as it touches on the concept of mental health, which is a hot topic of discussion.

2. CIIPHER

Next, there is a rookie boy group under the management of RAIN Company, called CIIPHER. CIIPHER officially debuted on March 15, 2021, with the release of their mini album I LIKE U. Their debut in the entertainment world immediately caught the attention of K-Pop music lovers.

One interesting thing about CIIPHER is their music video that features the figure of Kim Tae Hee. This is quite reasonable because Kim Tae Hee is the wife of the famous South Korean solo singer, Rain, who is the owner of RAIN Company.

3. ATO6

This is another rookie boy group that debuted in the first half of 2021, ATO6. ATO6 is a rookie group that officially debuted under the management of YG KPLUS agency. YG KPLUS is a subsidiary of YG Entertainment agency. The difference is that YG KPLUS specifically manages famous models in South Korea.

What makes ATO6 interesting is the members in this rookie boy group. This rookie boy group consists of models with attractive visuals and well-proportioned bodies. As the name suggests, this boy group has six members.

4. MIRAE

Next rookie boy group that also debuted in the first half of 2021 is MIRAE. This boy group debuted under DSP Media on March 17, 2021 with a mini album titled KILLA. The news about MIRAE's debut has been reported since January 31, 2021.

The name MIRAE is taken from the Korean word which means future. On their debut, the MV of their single reached more than 10 million views and recorded 26 thousand copies in post-sales of their mini album. This made them known as the 2021 Super Rookies.

5. BLITZERS

BLITZERS is also one of the rookie boy groups that debuted in the first half of 2021. They debuted under WUZO Entertainment. They made their debut on May 12, 2021 with their mini album titled CHECK-IN.

What's unique about BLITZERS is that they also released two pre-debut singles in 2020. The first pre-debut single was released in November 2020, while the second one was released in December 2020. The first pre-debut single titled Blitz, while the second one has the title Drawing Paper.
